My old Sunny's

Hi all,
       Heres a list of all the Sunny's i've owned over the years, had numerous other Datsuns/Nissans,
but here are my Sunny's.

No.1
      Was a 1978 Datsun 120Y B210
Payed £1,900   8,000 miles August 1980
Sold    £1,600 16,000 miles  Total  8,000
Kept    for 8 months
Right it all started in Aug 1980, with this 120Y 1171cc O.H.V. engine, they were a bit under
powered, used to rust like anything but were so reliable (many a good 120Y engine went to the
scrap heap because of the body rust).

      Was a 1980 Datsun Sunny B310

This Sunny also had the 1171cc engine and with it being a fair bit heavier than the 120Y it was
even slower (i had a mate at the time who had a Datsun 1200, it had done 120,000 miles
it smoked like a bastard but still kept going) no emmision tests in them days.

Sunny coup'e this one, they had the larger 1488cc engine and 5 gears so were a bit better on
performance.

First of the frontwheel drive Sunny's these, with the new E15 O.H.C. engine, good cars, far better
performance and did'nt rust so much. the engine was so clean on this one you could have eaten
your dinner off it.

Bought this one because it was 10 years old at the time and had only done 33,000 miles, it again
had the smaller 1171cc engine, kept it for 3.5 years with not any problem what so ever.

Well what can you say about this one, it was Yellow when i bought it, was a bit of a wreck with
battle damage at the back and rusty front wings, so got two new fiberglass wings for it, repaired
the back the best i could then painted it in Red Hammerite, it got a few looks and the kids in the
street thought i was mad, perhapes i was, then after 3 years i painted it again, this time in Blue
Hammerite, kept it for 6 years and sold it for the same as i payed for it £75. First car that i had not
lost money on.

18 years old when i bought it, as you can see only 53,000 miles, it was a 1.5 auto, a mate really
needed a car so i let him have it and he smashed it up two months later.

        1994 Nissan Sunny 2.0GTI   N14

This is the 2.0GTI that now belongs to my son (3digitdriver)
its next to my Almera GTI. The 34 months i had it it was in my garage in which time i took most of
the underneath back to bare metal and treated it with varoius coats of paint, Rust remover, Metal
restorer, anti rust primer, two thick coats of green Hammerite, two coats of underbody seal and a
coat of Wax-oil, so it should last for a while.

        1995 Nissan Sunny N14

This is my 14th and last Sunny that i still have, you should all know the story how i got it, hope to
keep it for many years, as it might be the last one i ever have.


One other picture i thought you all might like to see is my Datsun 280ZX that i had for about 6
years 1988/1994, straight six lovely and smooth.

nice selection of nissan/datsuns me likes a lot lol love the 280 that red n14 looks a minter 

lol i missed it as well grrrr lol but thanks to -B- it was brought to light again lol

Glad you all like my little solection, regarding the low mileage on a lot of them, they were quite new at the time when i bought them, but a few were old, like the last Blue sr that i have now.
